From centuries past

We are now in the year 2007!

Years, decades and even centuries have elapsed since man stepped foot on the earth. Where he came from is still up for debate. What is certain however is that food has been the one constant in his, or her life from day 1.

Can you imagine the different forms food has disguised itself into since that time? I'm flabbergasted!

So, I think it's appropriate I begin the food journey with the one food that totally begs the expression -

"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Bread!"

Now, there's no point reinventing the wheel. It's been done! It exists! Same theory applies to me trying to figure out what the timeline of bread would have been. Luckily for me, someone has already compiled it. Just like that!
